What Fylite Provides
Fylite provides online tools for file processing:

Acceptable Use
You may use Fylite for any lawful purpose. You agree not to:
- Use the service for illegal activity
- Interfere with or disrupt the service
- Access systems or data you're not authorized to access
- Use automated tools to scrape or overload the service
- Reverse engineer to extract proprietary code
- Impersonate Fylite or misrepresent affiliation
- Process files you don't have rights to modify
- Circumvent rate limits or security measures
Your Files and Content
You retain full ownership of files you process. For browser-based tools, we never access your files. For server-based tools, we temporarily process files only as needed for the requested operation.
You're responsible for ensuring you have rights to modify, convert, or otherwise process any files you use with our tools. We don't review, moderate, or have access to file contents beyond what's necessary for processing.
Intellectual Property
The Fylite website, including design, code, content, and branding, is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our website or code without permission.
Open-source libraries we use are subject to their own licenses. We provide attribution and comply with these licenses.
Your use of Fylite doesn't grant rights to our intellectual property beyond the limited right to use the service as intended.
Browser-Based Tools
Browser-based tools process files entirely in your browser. Key terms:
- No file data transmitted to our servers
- No file size or usage limits beyond your device capabilities
- Your browser must support modern JavaScript
- Processing speed depends on your device performance
- We're not responsible for browser compatibility issues
Server-Based Tools
Some tools require server-side processing. When using these tools:
- Files are uploaded via encrypted HTTPS connection
- Files are processed and automatically deleted within 30 minutes
- Rate limits apply (operations per hour per IP address)
- You must have rights to upload and process the files
- We may temporarily retain files longer if you report technical issues
Rate Limits
Server-based tools have rate limits to prevent abuse and ensure fair access. Current limits:
- Free users: Reasonable limits per hour based on operation type
- Limits may change without notice
- Circumventing rate limits may result in temporary or permanent access blocks
If you need higher limits, premium plans may be available in the future.
File Deletion
Files uploaded to server-based tools are automatically deleted within 30 minutes. We don't guarantee immediate deletion. Files may persist briefly in backups or logs.
If you need guaranteed immediate deletion, use browser-based tools where files never leave your device.
Service Availability
We strive to keep Fylite available 24/7, but don't guarantee uninterrupted access. Service may be unavailable due to:
- Scheduled maintenance (we'll try to announce in advance)
- Unexpected technical issues
- Factors outside our control (hosting provider issues, internet outages)
- Security concerns requiring immediate action
- Abuse or high traffic requiring temporary restrictions
No Uptime Guarantee
Fylite is provided 'as is' without uptime guarantees. We're not liable for losses resulting from service unavailability. If continuous availability is critical, don't rely solely on Fylite.
Disclaimers and Limitations

- Files you process using the service
- Your violation of applicable laws or regulations
Changes to the Service
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of Fylite at any time without notice. We may:

- Change pricing or introduce paid features
- Impose new limitations
We're not liable for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation. If we discontinue the service entirely, we'll try to provide reasonable notice.
Changes to These Terms

Your continued use of Fylite after changes constitutes acceptance of new Terms. If you don't agree with updated Terms, stop using the service.
Termination

You can stop using Fylite at any time. There's nothing to cancel for free features. If you have a paid subscription (future), cancellation terms will be clearly stated.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Slovenia and the European Union.
Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of Fylite shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Slovenia.
If any provision is found unenforceable, remaining provisions continue in effect.
EU Consumer Rights
If you're an EU consumer, you have rights under EU consumer protection law, including:
- Right to withdraw from distance contracts (for paid services)
- Right to compliant goods and services
- Right to remedies for non-compliance

If you're accessing Fylite on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
